Video is a medium I’ve been slowly winding into for several years now. It started in my role as a social media content producer, especially when the pandemic first started and the need for fast visual content increased. My skills gained steam when I worked for the Department of Homeland Security as they had a need for longer-form videos. I use several platforms for production, including Adobe Creative.
Consumer Impact Videos for the ASHFoundation
In 2024, the ASHFoundation found a need to create more content to specifically connect the dots between the ASHFoundation’s mission of supporting innovative research in communication sciences to the impact on outcomes for people with communication disorders. With the help of our in-house creative media team, I template, which will translate into an ongoing series, of videos that feature people with a variety of communication disorders talking about their challenges and urging more support for research.
Campaign Video for Howard County Board of Education 2022 Election
This was a pro-bono project for a local Howard County Board of Education candidate who, in my opinion, would have been a great addition to the board. We put this video up on her Facebook campaign, which you can see here.
